Electronic connector, also often called circuit connector and electrical connector, is a kind of conductor equipment for connecting electrical circuits. This part can be used as the end point of connection between different components in the same circuit system, or provide power and data connection between different circuit systems and devices. It is widely used in all kinds of electrical circuits, and plays the role of connecting or disconnecting circuits. Because of its form, it is called a pair of male and female (in common forms, the moving end is mostly male and the fixed end is mostly female). This connection may be temporary and easy to plug in and out at any time, or it may be a permanent node between electrical equipment or wires.
The hardware interface is the specifications of the physical connector shape, the method (protocol) of transmitting and receiving signals when the hardware of information machines such as computers communicate with each other. Mainly can be divided into parallel connection and bit sequence connection. Compared with parallel connectors, serial connectors use the same wire as signal control line and power supply line. In the field of personal computers, the parallel connection has encountered bottleneck in the development of higher transmission speed, and it is migrating to the serial connection mode of each interface.
